Do i need an inspection?

Each inspection includes:

1. Evaluation of load-bearing components (beams, joists, connectors) 
2. Review of waterproofing systems and flashing for leaks or failure 
3. Non-destructive testing first; invasive testing if damage is suspected 
4. A stamped report including: 
   • Locations and types of elements inspected 
   • Current condition and remaining service life 
   • Immediate threats to safety 
   • Recommendations for repair or replacement
      

If an immediate safety hazard is found, it must be reported to the local code authority within 15 days.
